Plain English, always
No dashboards nobody reads and no jargon designed to make the invoice feel clever. If we cannot explain it to your greenkeeper, it is not a strategy.

About us
Sunday Red Media exists for one reason: too many good clubs are struggling with a problem that is entirely solvable. We would like to solve it.
Our story
"I have a few loves in this world… golf, marketing & business, and my wife. No comment on the order."
For several years Chris Wright watched the decline of golf, with clubs closing all over the place. Not bad clubs, either — clubs with good courses, loyal members and decades of history, undone by empty midweek tee sheets and a membership list that shrank a little every year.
What became obvious was that the marketing which works everywhere else in business was barely being used in golf. Not because clubs are behind the times, but because nobody was translating it into the language of tee sheets, subscriptions, societies and committees.
So that is what we do.
How we work
These are the rules we wrote when we started, and the reason clubs stay with us.
No dashboards nobody reads and no jargon designed to make the invoice feel clever. If we cannot explain it to your greenkeeper, it is not a strategy.
We will tell you when the answer is not advertising. Reply times, joining processes and follow-up cost nothing to fix and beat any campaign.
Every ad account, pixel, audience and lead belongs to the club. If we part ways, you keep all of it. No hostages.
Rolling agreements with a 30-day notice period. We would rather earn the next month than trap you in it.
The journey
We did not set out to build an agency. We set out to fix one club's Tuesday problem, and the list of things that needed fixing kept getting longer.
Years of watching clubs close, courses sold for housing and committees blaming the weather. Meanwhile the marketing that works in every other industry was going unused in golf.
One parkland club, one society campaign, one landing page. It filled twenty-two midweek slots in a fortnight and the club has not bought a discount since.
Ads alone were not enough. Clubs needed film, they needed a website that converted, and above all they needed a team that could answer the phone properly.
Five services under one roof, working with members' clubs, proprietary clubs, resorts and golf brands across the UK and Ireland.
The team
Which matters more than it sounds. We have all stood on a first tee not knowing anyone, and we have all waited three weeks for a club to answer an email.
Golf, marketing and business — no comment on the order. Chris built a fitness company before turning his attention to why so many golf clubs were quietly closing.
The people who build the offers, the audiences and the landing pages, then spend their week trimming what is not working and scaling what is.
Drone, gimbal, stills and edit. The team that makes your club look like the place it feels like at 8am on a Saturday.
Who we work with
We work best with clubs that are willing to change something. If the answer to every suggestion is "the members would not like that", we are probably not the right fit — and we will say so on the first call rather than take your money.
